You will be greeted by either Kevin or Liam your father and son hosts.

With it's clean lines and warm brick exterior Awatea invites you relax in comfort. The purpose built home with separate host accommodation has four large guest bedrooms each with its own private bathroom, a communal dinning room and large lounge with open fire. All bedrooms have a flat screen TV and the entire complex has unlimited Wifi.

On those warm sunny Kaikoura summer days relax with a cup of tea or coffee or perhaps a wine or beer in our large patio and BBQ area.

Awatea offers a traditional Kiwi style breakfast with a range of cereals including home made muesli and fresh fruit salad followed by a cooked breakfast including bacon and our own farm fresh eggs.  Our breakfast is guaranteed to set you up for your busy day ahead. If you have special dietary requirements please notify us in advance. During your stay tea, coffee etc are free and unlimited. Beer and wine is available to purchase or bring your own. The outside BBQ is also free for guests to use
